Summary:

The Vice President, Sales is responsible for driving new revenue by creating and executing market strategy around new payer customer acquisition for risk adjustment and quality solutions. Cultivating relationships for new clients for GeBBS payer products and services, contacting those prospects to present our products and our value proposition, closing the sale by obtaining a signed service agreement.

The Vice President, Sales will work with client services for the ongoing maintenance of the client relationship.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

1. Direct sales responsibility, become a recognized sales leader on all GeBBS Healthcare payer Solutions products by meeting or exceeding all assigned quotas.

2. Partner with the sales team and the Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to identify client business and technical requirements during the sales cycle and determining recommended solutions and services.

3. Develop and deliver sales presentations on GeBBS Healthcare Solutions products and services to qualified Health Plan prospects.

4. Work with proposal and implementation team to meet prospective client’s needs and collaborate with GeBBS management to develop pricing that represents good value to the client while maintaining reasonable GeBBS margins.

5. Follow through on all presentations to deliver a proposal, negotiate a services agreement and close the sale.

6. Continuously develop a qualified pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, telephone marketing, attendance at trade shows and industry events and leveraging of business relationships and networks.

7. Identify areas of opportunity within current client base.

8. Attend and present at GeBBS User Group meetings and represent the company at various industry trade shows and conferences.

9. Track, forecast and report on pipeline activity, as well as won and lost opportunities.

10. Maintain an understanding of each prospective and existing client’s business to deliver the proper service fit for their needs.

11. Update and manage leads and all activity using salesforce.com for current and future marketing efforts.

12. Conduct all business dealings with integrity and professionalism to uphold the reputation for quality, service and value that GeBBS has built in the industry and provide value- added service to our clients by utilizing a consultative sales approach.

13. Establish, nurture and maintain positive, professional relationships with C-level decision makers within your geographic territory.

14. Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to GeBBS standards regarding privacy.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience with a demonstrated ability and prior success generating interest and sales into Health Plans required

• 5+ years of demonstrated sales prospecting and lead generation experience in using a consultative approach to direct selling of Health Plans required

• 5+ years of experience selling solutions services required

• 5+ years of experience developing and presenting client facing materials required

• Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the operational processes of healthcare payers and an understanding of their goals and objectives

• Proven ability to articulate and sell best practices and solutions and take ownership of completing the sales cycle

• Superior communication and organizational skills required

• Fast learner with the ability to operate within the highest levels of our target market

• Regular travel required

• Experience in CRM use, specifically with salesforce.com highly preferred
