We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to work at one our Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities in Santee.

Now hiring for the following positions:

• Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN)

The Licensed Vocational Nurse facilitates optimal health care for clients in conjunction with and under the license of prescribers by providing skilled health care to clients while addressing, referring and clarifying medical concerns including administration and education regarding medication and a range of health issues.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer PO, enteral, eye drops, inhalers, injections, patch and PRN medications to 32 residents
  • Initiate G-tube formulas and check placements and residuals

  • Evaluate resident's level of pain

  • Knowledge of all medication administration procedures

  • Document medication administration

  • Maintain clean techniques at all times

  • Observe medication is taken by resident

  • Knowledge of patient rights

  • Maintains thorough, accurate and timely documentation of the provision of services, assessments, evaluations, and progress toward the completion of clients’ treatment goals consistent with clinical and administrative policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year relevant work experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse required
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in skilled nursing required
  • Current CPR card required
  • Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check upon employment

Shifts currently available:

7am-3:30pm

3pm-11:30pm

11pm-7:30am

Pay:

$23/hour: ($16: Base $7: Tax Free)
